This Age of Miracles

Got to say I’ve fallen a little bit in love with The Clientele these last few weeks. They are one of those bands that I’d heard about and never really listened to. Anyhow when their latest album Music in the Age of Miracles came out I gave it a listen and wow. Stupidly I’d assumed they were some sort of horrendous Everything Everything sort of band but know they produce folky-psychedilc-tinged music that is truly beautiful.

I’m smitten.

If like me you don’t know them then I’d suggest: Give their new album then drop back seven years to Bonfires on the Heath then drop back even further to the beginning of their beautiful adventure.

Music for the dark days ahead and if by some miracle we get through all of it unscathed then give The Clientele a pat on the back for keeping you safe, sane and serene
