There is no future in England’s dreaming

Jon Savage’s exhaustive tome on the Sex Pistols and Punk rock titled ‘England’s Dreaming’ has been updated and reissued as part of the Faber Modern Classic series.
Clocking in at over 650 pages it’s a mighty book and well worth a read if you haven’t done so previously.
Is it the definitive account of punk rock? I’m not sure but if you’ve any interest in music, culture and UK history then it’s a must read. Also the cover looks great, there’s an updated discography and a foreword by Johnny Marr.
It’s out next month and will cost you 13 quid.
Review to follow sometime towards the end of February I’d guess!
