Lou Reed: Born 2 March 1942 Died 27 October 2013

Lou-Reed

When we were growing up us lot – us lot now in our mid-fifties – would sit for hours in bedrooms and living rooms. Listening to music, talking about football and girls and clothes and all that stuff.
David Bowie, Roxy, Mott et al. And of course Lou Reed. Reed whom Bowie introduced us to and whose album Transformer he produced with Mick Ronson.
It was so glamorous. New York glamour. Glam rock.
It was great. Lou was great. It was part of it all. Whatever ‘it’ might be.
Rest easy Lou
